Glasgow Clydebank gym reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Staff were very friendly and welcoming. This was my first visit to puregym. The staff were so friendly and put me at ease. I really enjoyed the class, the instructor Jordan was very encouraging. Looking forward to my next visit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too many people When I got to the gym there were 101 people already there but I went in anyway to see if I could get on anything. I managed 3 machines because there were so many people there were people queuing for equipment and though there was a Smith machine free someone had taken the bench so there were no free benches to use with the Smith machine. It was an absolute joke. You go to the gym to release stress but I left more stressed out than I was when I went in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice of equipment Such good value for money, so clean inside, plenty of lockers available, approachable staff
Date published: 2022-01-13
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well equipped and good value Disappointing to see very little gym users wearing masks whilst moving around and some are not cleaning equipment after use. I find myself cleaning everything before and after use. Other than that plenty of equipment to use and I tend to visit at quieter times for the above reasons

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gym was good just a lot of people not wearing mask Gym was good just very busy and people not wearing masks when walking around the gym
Date published: 2022-01-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good gym but no Masks Good selection of equipment that given you don’t go at peak times is readily available. However, I was in and very few people were wearing masks despite the gym being very busy - large groups of people moving round the gym not cleaning equipment or wearing masks which made myself uncomfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Busy Been to a lot of gym's through out the world, pure gym has tyred equipment. And no thought for renewing I feel.take the money and run feeling.
Date published: 2022-01-11
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Almost no masks in sight Gym was absolutely packed and I think about 5% of the folk in there were actually wearing masks when not on machines. Hate to complain but it’s a routine problem in this gym and has been for a while. I really don’t feel safe using machines when people climb on machines on either side of me, don’t wipe them down after use and don’t wear masks when moving about between machines. Understand people are exempt and social distancing measures are no longer required in businesses, but as someone with really vulnerable family it’s difficult to justify coming into the gym when there’s visibly few precautions in place during such a massive outbreak of COVID.
