Aron Smith

Objective: Leading clients to physical and mental wellbeing through movement and education. Each is essential to living a fulfilled life. My main weapon of choice to help people achieve their goals is a passion for people as whole beings. People come with a background e.g. language, region, cuisine, faith/beliefs, sub-culture(s), all of which will have a bearing on the end goal. I started to understand this at primary school where I learned to manage severe asthma and allergies while playing and competing in football and athletics amongst other sports which I thoroughly enjoyed regardless.    

Following this I took my journey in movement to new directions such as tumbling (the acrobatic side of gymnastics), muay thai boxing and then Southern mantis kung fu. In 2007 I discovered the kettlebell: the little black cannon ball with a handle. Realising the world of health and fitness is ever-changing, I spent a lot of time working with this oddly-shaped tool and got great results in strength, power, mobility and aerobic fitness. Kettlebells became a passion - one which I hope to spread while working with members as they continue on their health and fitness journeys.
