Derek McGonagle

Hi there. I'm Derek, and I am a Personal Trainer here at PureGym Dunfermline.

I started my fitness journey over half a decade ago, where I educated myself while putting myself through college. Like many, it became an essential coping mechanism for me regarding the journey that life has taken me on.

I believe with the right guidance and motivation, I can help anyone else achieve their goals, too. I can help you with whatever goals you strive for, whether that be fat loss and increased muscle mass, to improved general fitness and nutritional guidance.

As your PT, I will tailor training sessions, specifically for you, suitable to your needs, and will also provide the motivation you need to push you past your previous limitations.

Please feel free to speak to me regarding Consultations and Personal Training sessions whenever you see me around, if you want to take that first step forward, and embrace a positive change to becoming a better version of you!


Mondays: 7am-2pm; 8pm-10pm

Tuesdays: 7am-2pm; 8pm-10pm

Wednesdays: 8am-6pm

Thursdays: 8am-6pm

Fridays: 8am-8pm
