Jay Tucker

I have been a Personal Trainer for the last three years. I have a wide variety of clients whose goals range from losing a bit of body fat and toning up to competing in triathlons and joining the armed forces, ages range from 17-75. I can help you achieve your goals in fat loss, muscle gain, general fitness and overall body transformation. I use tried and tested nutritional methods to guide people and plan diets according to their goals.

I use a combination of training methods including weight and resistance training, circuits, plyometric and body calisthenics taken from my experience training in martial arts and the army. I teach positive mindset alongside physical and mental wellness. I also use functional training to assist people to increase their range of movement and strength. I also provide training programmes tailored to individual needs for use inside and outside the gym.

I believe that being active can help many aspects of your life not just your physical health but mental health too, it helps you focus, teaches you discipline and to work hard for you want, nobody said life was easy, if you want it work for it. I really enjoy seeing clients grow not just losing weight or getting a bit more muscle, seeing their confidence in themselves and their own ability increase as goals are achieved and the impossible becomes possible, I enjoy meeting new people learning about them what they want to achieve, everyone’s got a story and a goal and there are so many different ways to exercise, there is something for everyone it’s just finding it.
