Lynsey Smyth

My enthusiasm and passion for health and fitness flourished from a very young age. I started Irish dancing at the age of 4 and since then my love for all things sports and exercise developed. My greatest achievements in Irish dancing include winning both the Ulster and Northern Ireland Championships several times. 

Having graduated with BSc Honours in Sport and Exercise Sciences, I have the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and scientific approach to analyse performance in sport and exercise. As a goal orientated person myself I understand the importance of setting achievable yet challenging goals for my clients, whilst delivering an energetic and unique experience that reaches above and beyond expectations. 

I hold a great interest in exercise psychology. When it comes to losing weight, many individuals know to focus on eating less and exercising more. However, a major aspect of weight control involves understanding and managing thoughts and behaviours that can interfere with weight loss. One of the areas I pride myself on is helping clients identify ineffective beliefs and attitudes such as negative self-labels that hold them back from achieving their goals. These core unhealthy beliefs must be identified and replaced with a new way of thinking. 

As your personal trainer I am available 24/7 to support all your needs. I will provide my clients with knowledge; skills, guidance, support, confidence and most importantly motivation so they can achieve their own full fitness potential, also enhancing the quality of their lives. In a committed and exciting setting I will push you to your limits and I will get you across your finish line and onto your next hurdle. I have knowledge that will deliver!!!
