What if I told you I once weighed 15 stone? I was registered as obese with a BMI of 34, I hadn’t done any form of exercise between the ages of 21 to 35 or even set foot in the gym during that entire time?
The gym has changed my life, mentally and physically and because of how I started my fitness life it makes me the perfect personal trainer for you. I can relate to any situation you go through in the gym, in a class or with your relationship with food because I have lived through it myself.
After years of eating a bad diet, not looking after my health and suffering with severe mental health I decided to make a change and stepped outside of my comfort zone and began weight training at the age of 36. I focused on my training, my food and my mental health and soon discovered it was having a real impact on my entire life and before I knew it, I was hooked. I taught myself all I could before I decided to study for my gym instructor and Personal Training qualification. Since then my client base has grown and I train people from all walks of life including other Personal Trainers.
Being a Personal Trainer means I can now help you find an area in fitness that you will love, I can motivate you, teach you and pass on my passion to you. Working with me will help you reach your goals, teach you the link between exercise and food and it will also be fun, after all is that not what it is meant to be about.
