Too busy and run downI have been a member here for 5 months now and the only reason I have not cancelled my membership is because it is the only reasonably priced gym in the area.
But there is clearly a lack of pride in the gym by management- some of the equipment needs updating, the additional squat pads have broken down to nothing, there have been broken lockers in this gym since I have joined and they have not fixed them. I do not know how long they have been broken for but this shows a lack of caring by the management.
There is only 2 water fountains in the whole gym which I find shocking considering the size of the place.
It is always really busy, it is hard to find floor space to stretch, in the weight room you have to wait for benches at peak times, and I have my bench stolen from me when I walked away to put my weights away and get new ones for my next set. The gym floor tends to be a mess because most of the gym club members seems to never put their stuff away.
All in all you get what you pay for considering the area. This is not a cheap gym but any stretch but much cheaper than most gyms within 10min walking distance.

Gym is good but clients are notI'm a member of Soho gym and we had to use Puregym South Kensington until they reopen the Earl's Court gym. Can't wait to go back.

Nice gym but too busyGood location near South Kensington Tube Station.
Gym is too busy in the evenings and impossible to get a proper workout done with weights. In the morning it's slightly better although it's still very crowded.
Treadmills are a bit old and would benefit from being upgraded.
Classes book out very quickly part of the ploy to get you to pay more money for the "advanced bookings" for an extra £6 a month.

Disappointed member from
POOR SERVICEThere was no one at the South Kensington gym when the entrance machines were not working. I signed up yesterday and never got a pin. I have written 4 times and not heard anything, and yes my debit card was charged. Cancelling my membership when they do actually get back o me. Seems a poor gym choice to me.

Great SpacePure gym is easy to use, easy to navigate and easy to enjoy. The gym layout and equipment options are fantastic and the classes on offer are at convenient times and easy to book into on the app. Its a good set up!

Good gym, not too busy, mostly clean and tidyThe gym is okay, quite small, but lots of equipment. Would prefer a bit more variety in the equipment. Fixed weights always busy. Not often I have to queue. Changing rooms average, always towels everywhere all on the floor. Some staff really great and friendly, some are not. Had one sat next to me on a piece of equipment he wasn’t using having the loudest conversation with his friends who come to the gym. Could hear clearly over my headphones. Really off putting. He was literally doing no work at all.

Gem Of A GymRecently moved into the area and had the option to go with a nearby private members gym, but signed up here and definitely not regretting it... Spacious, Staff are ace, and never ever too busy or crowded.. Simple equipment, but totally worth it if you’re want to workout on your own clock, get some gains, and feel great doing it... PureGym rules!!
